BrightSpring Health Services (BrightSpring), the nation’s leading provider of complementary home and community-based health services and pharmacy services, announced LeAnn Rivera as the winner of its BrightSpring Brighter Futures Scholarship. Ms. Rivera will begin Neuroscience studies at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky, this fall and is the first in her family to attend college.
“We are proud to be able to help students achieve their educational goals and advance their education journey through the Brighter Futures Scholarship,” said Jon Rousseau, BrightSpring’s President and CEO. “Candidates like Ms. Rivera, who care about their community and give of their time to make it better, while maintaining academic success, embody the ideal recipient of the scholarship. We would like to wish Ms. Rivera every success in her pursuit to become a pediatric neurologist.”
BrightSpring, in partnership with the BrightSpring Brighter Futures Scholarship Fund through the Community Foundation of Louisville, created the academic scholarship. This scholarship supports BrightSpring’s continued commitment to invest in ongoing improvements in communities so that they become healthier and more independent.
The scholarships awarded annually consist of $10,000 per year and are renewable for up to four consecutive years for each deserving student.
