Healthcare IT News recently interviewed BrightSpring Chief Revenue Officer Laurie Babin about implementing technology to assist with patient billing.
In the article, Laurie outlined how BrightSpring leveraged a new vendor with an innovative approach and system to drive efficiency.
“Our billing staff immediately noticed the impact of these changes,” Babin said when describing the results of the initiative. “They receive significantly fewer mailed checks, which has reduced the time spent to process payments. They also send fewer statements since clients are paying their bills faster and many are enrolling in paperless billing.”
