ResCare Community Living Site Supervisor Roseline Oyebade has been Working Smart and Doing Good in Krum, TX.
A little over one year ago, Roseline welcomed a new client into her home. The individual’s mother was eager for her daughter to find a home and thrive in the community. She provided detailed information about the individual’s behaviors and how these could escalate while coping with the move.
The first night of pre-placement, the entire team was excited to see how the transition process would transpire and concerned about what would be done if it was not successful. Roseline took charge of pre-placement, going above and beyond to help the client feel welcome and make her first connections with other clients in the home. She kept the individual’s mother informed throughout and continued to foster a connection with both of them. The client has since settled into the home and completed high school, and her mother is overjoyed.
